Blastocyst Transfer

An embryo that is 5-7 days old is called a blastocyst. During an IVF procedure, something is created in the laboratory.

In a lab, different embryos are created through the fertilization of a mother’s eggs and a father’s sperm. After that, the embryos are given up to five or six days to grow in order to become stronger and healthier.

This raises the likelihood that the embryo will successfully implant in the uterus and cause pregnancy. The blastocyst, or fertilized egg, is subsequently placed inside the mother’s womb and given time to hatch.

There are two types of cells in a blastocyst: the inner cells become the baby, while the outer cells become the placenta.

IVF has the greatest success rate ever thanks to blastocyst transfer treatment, which can significantly boost the likelihood of becoming pregnant.

How is Blastocyst Transfer different from a normal IVF procedure?

The embryo is incubated for five days before to being transferred to the uterus in a blastocyst transfer procedure.

Through this process, the mother’s uterus receives only the healthiest, most viable embryos. By transferring a single embryo, the possibility of multiple pregnancies is eliminated. A few embryos are implanted during an IVF treatment, and this can occasionally lead to twin pregnancies.

What advantages does Mother Divine Fertility offer in terms of blastocyst transfer?

  • Multiple pregnancies (twins or triplets etc) can be avoided
  • Only healthy embryos are implanted in the uterus
  • The risk of genetic abnormalities reduces to a great extent
  • In a natural pregnancy, the embryo reaches the uterus on day 6 so it is more natural to transfer the blastocyst at this stage

Who can benefit from Blastocyst Culture and Transfer?

  • Individuals experiencing repeated IVF failures
  • women with viable eggs and embryos
  • Patients undergoing blastocyst transfer therapy can also profit from using frozen embryos.
  • To increase the likelihood of conception, fewer embryos are transferred and allowed to develop for up to five or six days.
  • Blastocyst transfer therapy is also beneficial for patients who are already pregnant with one kid and do not wish to become pregnant again.

The greatest IVF therapy for blastocyst transfer in Delhi is provided by Mother Divine Fertility Clinic. We only transfer one or two blastocysts at a time during our blastocyst transfer treatment since transferring more than two blastocysts can result in multiple pregnancies.
